How to Get Hoppy in Baldur’s Gate 3
To acquire the Hoppy war pick in Baldur’s Gate 3, you need to discover the Mountain Pass on the Act 1 map, then seek out trader Lady Esther along the Rosymorn Monastery Trail. The entrance to the Mountain Pass lies in the far northwest corner of the primary Act 1 map. However, it’s advisable not to rush there immediately upon beginning the game. Venturing through the Mountain Pass and accessing the Rosymorn Monastery Trail may affect the progression of pivotal story quests in Act 1. It’s wiser to delay entry into this new area until you’ve addressed quests concerning the Emerald/Druid Grove and the Goblin Camp first.
Rosymorn Monastery Trail
When you’ve finished with other Act 1 priorities, head to the Mountain Pass and exit. This new area is the Rosymorn Monastery Trail and you can find Lady Esther just a short way down the path. As you near her position on the trail, she’ll call out to you. You’ll just need to take a right turn around the path. Esther will have something to discuss in conversation with you first, but look out for a dialogue option that asks her if she has any equipment worth trading.
Furthermore, there are a few pieces of note here including the Periapt of Wound Closure and The Graceful Cloth. Finally, you’ll also be able to purchase the Cacophony quarterstaff from her, as well.
