How to Get Limestone in Enshrouded
To get Limestone in Enshrouded you will need to have access to the Low Meadows area. You can find the best location to mine limestone to the northeast of the Low Meadows Ancient Spire. In order to access this region, you will need to Strengthen your Flame Altar to Level 3.
When you’ve reached the top of the Low Meadows spire, stand on the exterior ledges and look to the northeast. You will clearly see a small mountain of stone. The base of this entire rock is entirely made of limestone, and it’s great spot to return to for as much as you need. You should be able to reach the green land below it with your glider and then it’s just a matter of walking up to mine some limestone.
Limestone can be hard to identify at first because its color is just a paler shade of stone. When you’re up close to it you’ll be able to see some faint bluish tones scattered around in it. However, this massive location is so easy to find you shouldn’t have to worry about hunting it down in the rest of the overland world.
You will need a Pick Axe to mine limestone in Enshrouded. Remember that the better quality pick axe you have, the faster you will be able to gather materials.
Additionally, when mining in Enshrouded you can also use Skill Points to unlock an ability called Mason (2 points). With this skill active, your pick axe will deal 30% more damage against stone and resource veins.
Furthermore, you’ll be using up a lot of your Stamina wheel when you’re out there mining limestone in Enshrouded. Therefore, you should bring along food like honey or other consumables with stamina regeneration or endurance. This will help maximize the speed of gathering and the amount of materials you can collect in a run.
Finally, if you unlock the Miner skill (4 points), it will grant you a 10% chance to get more resources when mining.
What is a Limestone, and what is it used for?
In Enshrouded Limestone is a mid-game material for building shelter in your base, which you will need to do for all of the craftspeople you rescue. You can use it to create walls with the Limestone Block recipe at your workbench. You will need 10 Limestone and 4 Dirt per block.
Additionally, you can also create Refined Stone Blocks with limestone. Refined Stone Blocks will require 5 Limestone and 5 Flintstone in order to create 100 sections.
