Murderous Cut deals additional damage to enemies with low health, and you can get it during Act 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3.
Murderous Cut
In Baldur’s Gate 3, Murderous Cut is a dagger that can deal additional Piercing damage under certain conditions. The Prey Upon the Weak perk will allow you to deal an additional 1-4 points of Piercing damage only when the target has less than 50% of their health points remaining. Moreover, this dagger also has an additional +1 Weapon Enchantment which makes it a little more powerful.
However, because this weapon isn’t available until Act 3 you will likely already have better daggers equipped for your Rogues or Rangers. Additionally, some of the best daggers in the game, including Bloodthirst and Rhapsody, can be earned later on. These weapons will drastically outclass this one, but Murderous Cut could be used in the meantime if you had nothing else available.

How to Get Murderous Cut in Baldur’s Gate 3
To get Murderous Cut in Baldur’s Gate 3 you need to advance far enough into Act 3 that you’ve reached the Lower City. From the Basilisk Gate waypoint near where you enter, head west to find Bloomridge Park. This open, green space looks peaceful enough at first, but as you make your way into the central courtyard you’ll be ambushed by Bhaal cultists.
These particular Bhaal cultists aren’t particularly strong, but there are several of them surrounding your group. Focus on taking them out one by one until they’re all defeated. Afterward, go around and loot all of the bodies. At least one of these cultists, if not more, should have the Murderous Cut dagger.
