In Enshrouded, Rooibos is a unique resource that plays a key role in crafting, potions, and possibly progression in the game. Getting your hands on Rooibos requires exploring the world and gathering it from its natural sources. In this guide, we’ll cover where to find Rooibos, how to get it, and what it’s used for.
How to Get Rooibos in Enshrouded
To get Rooibos in Enshrouded you will need to have access to the Nomad Highlands area. Once you have access to the region the best locations to farm rooibos can be found north of the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire. Furthermore, to access this region, you will need to Strengthen your Flame Altar to Level 4.
First, you should complete the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire if you haven’t before. This will unlock the fast travel point at the top, which makes it very easy to reach the spot with rooibos.
Then, from the spire, you can use your glider to head northeast. You don’t have to go very far, so you should start to descend pretty quickly. This area has lots of rooibos plants, and you can collect at least a dozen easily.
What is Rooibos, and what is it used for?
In Enshrouded you’ll use Rooibos to make consumables such as Rooibos Tea and Spice. Rooibos tea is very simple to craft with the Farmer and only requires the ingredients of Rooibos and Water. This will create the Rooibos Tea consumable which will last for 30 minutes. Furthermore, it will boost your Endurance +3 and Stamina Recharge +7.
Additionally, Rooibos is also a necessary ingredient in Spice. Spice is an advanced crafting material that can be used to create Glow Soup and Stir-Fried Vegetables. To create Spice in Enshrouded, you will need the Alchemist Laboratory station, as well as these ingredients:
- 1 Saffron
- 1 Alchemical Base
- 1 Chamomile
- 1 Rooibos
- 2 Kindlewastes Flower
Rooibos Location in Enshrouded
You need to upgrade your Flame Alter to Level 4 to access the Nomads Highland area where Rooibos grow naturally. You can find several plants to gather to the northeast of the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire.
Tall Pine Plants
The Rooibos plant is a tall, bush-like plant that appears a little bit like a small pine or juniper. Additionally, it may also have small yellow flowers on it.
