Sandtrout Leathers is a crafting component used for crafting garments and several armor sets in Dune Awakening.

The Dune franchise is famous for several things. Some love it for its socio-political themes, while others do so for its harsh world and lore. If you’re like us, you love it for its immaculate drip in character designs. The outfits are all top-notch and stylish, and Dune Awakening faithfully carries this drip over to a video game format.
There are tons of stylish (and powerful) outfits on offer in Dune Awakening. While you can often loot them from containers or by killing enemies, the most consistent way to acquire them is to craft them.
Sandtrout Leathers are a crafting resource used for crafting a good chunk of the outfits in the game. With Sandtrout Leathers, you can craft outfits such as the Advanced Suspensor Jacket, the Chosen armor set, the Duneman armor set, Quirth’s set, and much more.
If you’re looking to craft some of the best pieces of clothing in Dune Awakening, you need Sandtrout Leathers. If you don’t have it yet, we’re here to help you get it.

In order to obtain Sandtrout Leathers, you need to make your way to the O’odham region in Dune Awakening. Approach this region from the southwestern end, through the Eastern Shield Wall. Once you cross the southwestern border, you’ll find a huge cone-shaped mountain. To the west of this mountain are smaller mountains bundled up together, encircling a small area. Make your way to this area.
As you enter the area between the mountains, you’ll find a ton of guards patrolling around a giant skeletal piece. Take these guards out using a sniper rifle. They are very high-level, so we advise taking a fight from a distance. Once you’ve killed these enemies, make your way to their corpses and check for loot. You’ll find Sandtrout Leathers within their remains. Press the ‘E’ key to acquire the garment crafting component.
There are several other guards you can find here if you move forward. Kill all of them and you’ll be sufficiently stocked up on Sandtrout Leathers. Should you wish to acquire more, you can simply wait for the guards to respawn. Since there is no limit to how often these guards respawn, you can use them to farm for Sandtrout Leathers.
