The Silver Pendant is a great early accessory you can easily find right away in Act 1 of Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3).
Silver Pendant
In Baldur’s Gate 3 the Silver Pendant is a really helpful necklace you can find early on in the game which can really help with Ability and dialogue checks. It grants the wearer access to the Guidance cantrip. Casting this on yourself or any all grants them a +1d4 bonus to Ability Checks. It requires Concentration, but will last for 10 turns.
Moreover, outside of the combat benefits, this cantrip is even more helpful in boosting Ability checks during dialogue. No matter who in your party is speaking to a NPC, when a dialogue check appears, down below the dice you should see the option to ‘Add Bonus’. Clicking on this will reveal the Guidance cantrip, as well as any other boosts you may have access to. Just click on the Guidance icon and it will add that bonus to your upcoming dice roll. Moreover, since Guidance is a cantrip, it doesn’t require the use of spell slots. You can essentially cast it over and over again as needed.

How to Get Silver Pendant in Baldur’s Gate 3
You can get the Silver Pendant in Baldur’s Gate 3 by finding the abandoned Harper Outpost on the map and looting the lone skeleton figure by the campfire. This location is not far from the crash site where the nautiloid hit and it’s easy to get there with a little bit of exploring. The spot where you access it can be easy to miss, however. The place you’re looking for is directly north of the crash site, or west of the Emerald Grove Environs waypoint. As you’re walking towards the west, keep an eye out on your right for brown stone.
There will be a ledge you can jump up on, and it’s low enough that even characters without Athletics should be able to manage it. Then walk a little forward and climb up the Cragged Rock. From the top, head towards the right and you should see a tall ladder and other wooden supports. Climb up the ladder and you will be at the old Harper Outpost.
The skeleton is easy to find at this point. It should be directly ahead of you, over by the campfire on the right. Click to loot it and you’ll find the Silver Pendent!
