You find Spice-Infused Copper Dust in Dune Awakening by simply exploring the map. The crafting resource is all over various locations on the map, but your best bet of finding this item is in the shipwrecks.
The Alcyon is one of the earliest shipwrecks you’ll find in the game. To find this shipwreck, you’ll first need to accept the Scrap Mettle: Wrecking Crew Contract. You can find and accept this contract from Sarem Urchok by interacting with the Contract Board.
Accept the contract, and the Alcyon’s location will be visible on your map. Go to the marked location and enter the ship from the opening in the hull. Drop down below and explore the interiors to find Spice-Infused Copper Dust.
