Stravidium Fiber in Dune Awakening helps you craft Plastanium Ingots, which in turn give you access to powerful late-game gear.
Crafting is a big part of the gameplay loop of Dune Awakening and one you can’t afford to skip. Dune Awakening’s version of Arrakis is fairly challenging, and the game expects you to face this challenge with the correct equipment. To do so, you have to craft increasingly powerful gear, for which you’ll require the rarest crafting components. The Stravidium Fiber is one such crafting component.
By itself, the Stravidium Fiber doesn’t come in use. Instead, it is used to craft the Plastanium Ingot, which in turn gives you access to powerful late-game items. The list of items you can craft includes Regis Dirk, Regis Disruptor M11, Regis GRDA 44, Regis JABAL Spitdart, Regis Vulcan GAU-92, CHOAM Heavy Chestplate, CHOAM Heavy Gauntlets, CHOAM Heavy Helmet, CHOAM Scout Chestplate, and more.
If you wish to get your hands on any of the aforementioned late-game gear, you need Plastanium Ingots. For that, you then need the Stravidium Fiber. Stravidium Fiber isn’t found on the map but needs to be crafted. In order to craft it, you first need to find the Stravidium Mass base ingredient. You find Stravidium Mass in the Deep Desert of Dune Awakening.
You can go to the Deep Desert by traveling to the northernmost edge of the Western/Eastern Shield Wall. Cross the blue barrier, and the game will take you to the World Map.
In the Deep Desert, head over to Sector E-9, directly northeast of Sector B-6. Explore the cluster of mountains in this sector, and you’ll find Stravidium Mass ores all over this area. Mine these resources and take them back to the base.
Once back at base, head over to your Medium Chemical Refinery and press ‘E’ to bring up the refinery menu. Select the Stravidium Fiber schematic from the list to craft the item.
