How To Collect Water in Dune Awakening

There are multiple ways to gather water in Dune Awakening, with each becoming more efficient as you progress through the game:
- The first and basic one is drinking water directly from dew plants. Although it is quick and simple in the early stages, it only restores a small portion of the water meter. If you unlock Dew Reapers, you can harvest and store water from dew plants more effectively.
- The second common method is obtaining water by purifying blood, which can be effective during the early-mid game. After defeating enemies, you can use the Blood Extractor to harvest blood and store it in blood packs. You can then convert the accumulated blood from the packs into water at the Blood Purifier.
- The most effective and consistent method of obtaining water comes during the mid-late game via the Windtraps schematics. This advanced structure collects water passively over time, as long as you have power. Constructing multiple Windtraps can be highly effective and automate your water farming.
How To Store Water in Dune Awakening
Collecting water allows you to drink it and satiate your thirst at the moment. However, storing water allows you to conserve it to survive long journeys. In the early game, you will get access to a Literjon, a small container used to store water. Despite its low capacity, it lets you transport collected water and consume it on the go.
To expand your water storage, you can build Cisterns, which serve as the main water storage containers. It allows you to store and conserve a large amount of water and maintain a reserve for future use.
