You can increase your carrying capacity in Throne and Liberty by interacting with the Storage Manager in any of the major cities.
As you trudge through the world of Solisium in Throne and Liberty, you will come across lots of weapons, gear, materials, etc. These will inevitably make their way into your inventory. If you’re a player like me who likes to experiment around with different gear, it is likely that you deal with a stacked inventory more often than you’d like.
Thankfully, the carrying capacity and storage capacity can be increased. And in this guide, we shall show you how to do exactly that.
What is Carry Capacity in Throne and Liberty?
Carry capacity refers to the amount of space you have in your inventory, and how many items your character can carry with them as you play the game. When you begin playing Throne and Liberty you have a total of 130 slots in your inventory. Items of the same kind will stack, but with so many crafting items, ingredients, gear pieces, growthstones and more, it is easy to fill up.
However, Throne and Liberty provides you with a couple of different ways you can deal with this limitation. First, you will have access to a separate storage starting immediately after the tutorial in the starting city of Kastleton. We’ll cover details of this further below. Additionally, you can also increase your inventory capacity, though it will cost some in-game currency to do so.
How to Increase Carrying Capacity in Throne and Liberty
To increase carrying capacity in Throne and Liberty all you have to do is open up your inventory, and click on the the ‘plus’ icon at the bottom. The number just to the left will tell you how many items you are currently carrying/how many items you can hold in total. Clicking the plus icon will bring up a screen that asks if you want to expand your inventory by 5 slots in exchange for Sollant.
However, it is quite expensive to upgrade your carrying capacity, as even the first cost to expand your inventory will set you back 250,000 Sollant. That’s a lot, especially for a player in the early game.
You’ll likely want to expand your carry capacity in Throne and Liberty eventually, but at the beginning the cheaper option is to first focus on expanding your storage capacity.

To increase the storage capacity in Throne and Liberty, you need to visit the Store Manager. A chest icon on the map in all of the major cities of Solisium marks the location of the Store Manager. Talking to the Storage Manager opens up your storage inventory. Here, you can see all the items you’re carrying with you, as well as the other items you have saved up and stored.
With the inventories open, look at the bottom right corner of your screen and you will find the ‘Expand Storage’ option marked by a Plus sign. Click on the button and you will be able to expand your storage with increments of 5 slots each. Much like increasing your carry capacity, this will cost Sollant. However, the price is much more reasonable. The first cost starts at 5,000 sollant and will increase with each additional five slots.
How to Get Sollant in Throne and Liberty
Sollant is one of the game’s primary currencies and is required to upgrade your carrying capacity. You can complete main quests and side objectives to obtain Sollant at a comfortable pace. The two provide ample amounts of Sollant that will keep you sufficiently levelled up through the course of your journey in Solisium.
However, if you happen to have loose pockets, Sollant can also be easily farmed whenever necessary. To do this, simply head into any of the dungeons in Solisium. Clearing out these levels grants you Sollant, and so does killing the enemies in them. We highly recommend picking Syleus’ Abyss for this very purpose as the dungeon is fairly easy while also offering a high enemy presence.
Alternatively, you can indulge in the game’s Contracts, Throne and Liberty’s version of daily quests. You can complete these daily quests and obtain Sollant as rewards. These Contracts refresh daily so we highly recommend making it a priority to complete these during your play sessions.
