A new Weapon Mastery system is introduced in Throne and Liberty with the Wilds of Talandre update. In this weapon specialization, each weapon has 200 levels and one level equals one point you can spend on a Node. There are four categories where you can spend your points on. You spend your points starting from the inner circle, and the time comes when you will spend points on the rare line. This system allows the players to level up weapons and allocate mastery points to build their play style. You can unlock powerful abilities and enhance character effectiveness. Players earn the Weapon Mastery Experience through various activities in the game. There are nodes of varying rarities that represent different paths. In this guide, we’ll discuss how new Weapon Mastery works in Throne and Liberty, including some useful tips and tricks.

The specific total of specialization points allows you to each skill. You can get access to the slots at a total of 130, 260, 390, and 520 points. Weapon Mastery Revamp Mechanic
Each weapon has four areas: attack, defense, tactics, and support. Within each area, there are common, uncommon, rare, and epic nodes represented by each being a part of their Circle. At the same time, the achievement effects are between each circle. You will need to unlock each node and you can always start with the common nodes. Hovering over each node or achievement effect, you can pretty much see what is required for that node to be unlocked.
Nodes can be leveled up to a maximum of 10 and advanced nodes require 30 Mastery points to be unlocked. For example, if you want to unlock all critical uncommon dagger attack nodes alongside materials, you need to spend 30 Mastery points on common nodes. You can spend these 30 points on any area as long as you spend 30 on each common, uncommon, or rare Circle to unlock the next one. Achievement effects don’t have any requirement in terms of points or materials, but you need to spend 20 Mastery points on each circle to activate it.
How to use Weapon Mastery

Following the lines in between circles tells you which two nodes will unlock the achievement effect. For example, if you want to activate Incising Fang following the line, you can see that unlocking and leveling to 10 any two of these four nodes will activate it. The same principle applies to other high-tier achievement effects and nodes.
The main thing is that you can only have two achievement effects active per Circle regardless of the area. So, you can and combine each of the four attacks, defense, utility, and support to your liking. For Example, activating Incising Fang and extreme blood loss doesn’t allow you to activate vampiric instinct or Shadow Armor. However, in the other two circles, you can use a different combination. The only difference is that you need 80 rare Mastery points to activate one Epic achievement effect. And 120 Mastery points for two epic achievement effects.
Leveling Up Mastery
Leveling Mastery is slightly different. Instead of the current Training Dews, the developers introduce Weapon Mastery Seals. You don’t need to manually use those seals because as soon as you obtain them, they go into this combined pool of weapon Mastery experience. You can see how much available experience you have. Using plus or minus for each weapon you can add experience to your liking. Leveling Mastery is still greatly affected by burning tokens in open-world Dungeons. It will only add experience to the two weapons you’re using to farm.
There is also a Mastery swap system that allows you to use a weapon Mastery Conversion Book to swap Mastery levels. You can swap from one weapon to another without having to grind or farm. The Conversion Book is obtainable from the shop. On the bottom, there are also four Mastery skill slots. Each slot and each skill require an overall Mastery level to unlock and use. For Example, if you have Longbow Mastery level 50, dagger 50, and Staff 30, you will unlock the first slot and can use one of the skills that unlock with 130 Mastery levels. These skills are unique, and strong, and work with every single weapon combination.
So, how can you prepare? First, you need to make sure that if possible, on the current Mastery you reach level 20 on both of your main weapons. This will ensure that each weapon will gain the maximum of 80 new Mastery levels. There is no official chart showing how many new Mastery levels you get based on your current level. However, we do know that level 20 transfers to new level 80. If you divide 80 by 20, we get four. This means that if you multiply your current Mastery level by four to get the new Mastery level.
Complete daily contracts, dungeon runs, open-world dungeon tokens, and any other thing that gives Training Dews and Mastery. This will allow you to gain even more Mastery experience in the new Talandre area. Currently, on global, we have Buffs that increase weapon Mastery and all contracts give an increased amount of Dew. It’s the perfect time to farm Mastery levels. Aiming for the current three level 20 Mastery weapons and the rest on level 10 will be a great starting point.
However, getting to level 10 is very easy. If you want to minmax and unlock all four Mastery skill slots on day one, you will need three weapons on level 20 and five other weapons on level 14. This adds up to 130 current levels and multiplied by four is 520 new Mastery levels. Use Quest Log to create your Mastery builds for your main weapon combinations. There you can see all the stats, passives, and Buffs you get as well as material and Sollant requirements needed.
Mechanic Inventory in KCD2
You can manage your inventory by pressing the “I” key and accessing the character menu. Use the Dissolve function to dismantle gear. This allows you to increase inventory space. You begin with a default of 130 inventory slots. You can use this space to add gear, crafting materials, consumables, and other items essential. Each increment adds five slots and requires gold. To remove unwanted gear, use the “Dissolve” function, which costs 80 gold per item. Dissolving the gear allows you to expand your inventory space. You can check the inventory to remove or store items that you don’t need. The Rune System introduces additional items that can quickly consume inventory space in Throne and Liberty.
