This is where a bookshelf will prove to be your messiah.
How To Make a Bookshelf in Minecraft
To craft a book, the main ingredients you require are wood planks and books. Crafting wooden planks may just be the easiest among all the other blocks in the game. For planks, all you require are wood blocks, which are available almost everywhere except the Nether world. Simply mine the wood from the nearest available tree. You can chop down any tree in Minecraft to use for the bookshelf.
After that, you will need to acquire a book. Books for immediate access can be found in villages inside loot chests. If you are lucky, you may just end up finding a bookshelf lying around over there.
The only problem with readily available bookshelves is that you only get books and not the planks after you mine them. If you have to craft a book, you will need three papers, which can be made from sugarcane and leather, which can be sourced by killing cows.

- First, open or interact with the crafting table.
- Line up the six wooden planks, three on the top row and three on the bottom row.

Why is the bookshelf important?

Once your enchanted table is set up, line up your bookshelves around the enchanted table with just a block’s worth of space in between. You can place fewer bookshelves if short in supply, but adding 15 will give you the highest level of enchantments, which is 30.
