Total Drama Island was released on June 1, 2025, on the Roblox platform. Fresh TV announced the video game adaptation of the beloved Cartoon Network show in a press release on May 27. Fans can now enjoy Camp Wawanakwa as shown in the Total Drama TV series in Roblox.
Just like the show that first aired in 2007, you will be taking part in a series of challenges alongside other players to win the fictional reality TV show. The game also features the show’s co-hosts Chris and Chef.
This article will go through how to play the Total Drama Island game on Roblox for those looking to immerse themselves in the Total Drama experience. Players should note that this article is about the recent game by TotalDramaGames that was released in beta on June 1 and is not about the 2020 experience titled Total Roblox Drama by Mojo’s Games.
How To Play Total Drama Island on Roblox
Players need to follow these steps to launch the game:
- Log in to Roblox.
- Go to the Total Drama Island experience. Click here to directly navigate to the game’s page.
- Press the play button on the Roblox Platform to launch the game.
- Click on the Play Button in the main menu to start.
You will spawn into the lobby resembling the famous Camp Wawanakwa. Players can explore around the map for tidbits from the show, such as visiting the dorms or the Tuck Shop to get cosmetic items. To start a round, follow these steps:
- Walk into the green area marked Game Zone with five other players.
- After a brief pause, you get to choose a character from the show. (Buying a base character requires Robux)
- You get a limited number of rolls in case you do not want to spend money.
After character selection, players get randomly assigned to two opposing teams, just like the Total Drama TV show. The gameplay loop is simple. You and your team partake in various in-game challenges to score points against your opposing team. Just like the show, the losing team votes one of their members out of the game. Eventually, the last surviving member wins.
