Paralysis is a condition in Monster Hunter Wilds; you fall onto the ground and remain there for a few seconds. You are unable to move, and you can see very light jolts of electricity on your body. Even your Palico will not be able to help if you are afflicted with this status.

There are two monsters that can paralyze you in Monster Hunter Wilds:

Other than farting, Congalala has an attack where the monster will belch, releasing brown fumes from his mouth. If you come in contact with these fumes, you will be instantly hit with Paralysis in Monster Hunter Wilds.

As for Lala Barina, the monster will often release red feathers from its abdomen, and these have a spread attack. If you come in contact with them, you will be instantly paralyzed.

The frenzied and tempered variants of both these monsters also have access to the same moveset and can paralyze you.
