How to Cure Elemental Blights in Monster Hunter Wilds

Bulberry can cure all Elemental Blights in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Nulberry can cure all Elemental Blights

All Elemental Blights in Monster Hunter Wilds can be removed:

  • Using Nulberry.
  • Evading (or dodging) a few times.
  • Using Purewasps.

Nulberry is a common item that you will generally find in abundance throughout. Consuming a Nulberry will instantly remove all Elemental Blights (hence the name Null berry). You can carry 10 of these at any given point in time.

However, if you are out of Nulberries during a battle, you can also evade or dodge a few times to remove the Elemental Blight completely. Admittedly, this is not the best option if you are on low health since you might run out of health or be killed by the monster if you are not careful enough.

You can also use Purewasps to cure any Elemental Blight. Your Palico will automatically use this during fights at random. At other times, you can get this item in the wild. Purewasps appear blue when compared to normal Vigorwasps and then release a bluish mist as well.

You can completely deal away with Elemental Blights by equipping Charms in Monster Hunter Wilds. Here are all the charms that prevent a specific Elemental Blight:

BlightItems That Prevent Blight
FireblightFire Resistance Charm, Blight Resistance Charm
WaterblightWater Resistance Charm, Blight Resistance Charm
DragonblightDragon Resistance Charm, Blight Resistance Charm
ThunderblightThunder Resistance Charm, Blight Resistance Charm
IceblightIce Resistance Charm, Blight Resistance Charm

You will need to craft each of these charms and then level them up. Charms have three levels, and they only offer complete protection against an Elemental Blight at level 3. At levels 1 and 2, they offer significant bonuses but do not completely nullify it.

Each Elemental Blight has its own special charm that can negate it completely. However, the Blight Resistance Charm, in general, blocks all Elemental Charms in Monster Hunter Wilds.
