Head to the Ancient Aqueduct at the Arlathan Forest using the fast-travel beacon located northeast of the Veil Jumpers camp. It is the same area where you must find four missing Veil Jumpers during the quest ‘The Plight of the Veil Jumpers’

Head to the ladder at the east and climb it. Make your way through the destroyed building to reach Forest Mire. You will notice a big reward chest on the island. There is no way to reach the island unless you solve the Light Beam puzzle in the area. The Island is surrounded by water on all sides and you will also notice swirls of water that revolves in the air around the island.

Forest Mire & Waterfront Glades Light Beam Puzzle Solution

You need to locate three light beam structures and pass the light beam to the three energy nodes on the island. Let’s see how to get this puzzle done.

First Light Beam

Head east and use the tree log to cross the river. Use Harding’s Stone Song ability to move the rocks. Climb the rocks to reach the cliff. There you will find the first light beam, but unfortunately, it is deactivated.

You will notice another light beam (we’ll call it the “lower light beam”) below the cliff towards the north. It casts energy somewhere else, we need that energy to activate our first light beam.

Jump down and reach the lower light beam. Aim the beam towards the energy node of the first light beam to activate it. Once the first light beam gets its power, aim the beam toward the first energy node of the island located far away.

Second Light Beam

Next, continue your way through the northwest of the lower light beam. You will find the second light beam, deactivated, behind some trees and bushes.

Break the nearby wooden boxes to grab a power crystal. Put the power crystal in the socket to activate the second light beam. Then, aim the light beam toward the second energy node of the island.

Third Light Beam

Then head back and turn left to reach the stairs. Follow the way and use the tree log to cross the gaps. Then, you will find a gate blocking your path. Activate the switch on the right side to open the gate.

Then cross another tree log to reach the blue barrier, which blocks your way. You will find a power crystal placed in a socket nearby. Grab the crystal from the socket to turn off the barrier and place the crystal on the socket right next to the third light beam.

This activates the third light beam. Cast the light toward the island’s third energy node to end the puzzle. This creates a bridge at your starting location and the water swirls surrounding the island disappear.

Use the bridge to reach the reward chest on the island, which is guarded by the Guardian of Secrets. Defeat the level 26 boss and open the chest to get the Iron Veil, a Unique Light Helm.
