Exploring the lower part of Minecraft’s world has its pros and cons, primarily cons. However, if you know the strategy to stay silent even in the stickiest of situations, you might be able to outlive the scenario.

While you’re exploring the underground area, you will come across an Ancient City. This biome is empty, but creating too much noise will make the Warden spawn from its portal. A Warden is the game’s strongest and hardest-to-beat mob, so make sure to follow these rules to stop it from spawning and allow yourself to pick up some great loot!

To understand if you’re making loud enough noises to spawn the Warden, look around for the Sculk Sensors. If you move and you hear loud clicking noises, it means the sensors are sending signals to the Warden’s spawn. Continuous signals from Sculk Sensors mean danger, and you may have to adapt to the noise.

The easiest and most common method to stop Warden from spawning in Minecraft is to avoid making noises. You can press Shift to crouch to be as silent as possible and explore around the whole Ancient City without worrying about it. However, this method is not efficient since the Ancient City is huge, and it will take a lot of your time to explore it completely while crawling through it. Unless you have exceptional patience, refrain from this method.

Additionally, jumping down and running around can cause the sensors to send signals. To avoid this, you can place wool blocks and simply negate all the noise you’re producing. However, if the Warden ultimately spawns, you can stay out of its sight since the game’s brightness will gradually lower itself, and you won’t see anything. You can use Snowballs to distract it. Lastly, do not try to break the Warden teleporters since they’re all placed near the Sculk Sensors. The mining noise can activate the sensors.
