How To Store Vehicle in Dune Awakening

Storing your vehicles is one of the key features in Dune Awakening, allowing you to safely store and restore them whenever needed.

Exploring every part of Arrakis on foot can be tedious and time-consuming, unless you have vehicles like Sandbike and Ornithopter. The Sandbike allows you to quickly cover distances, especially during the early stages of the game. However, leaving your vehicle in a specific place is not ideal. It may get damaged by sandstorms or other threats. Moreover, you will need to run back to your vehicle each time to continue your journey.

Fortunately, Dune Awakening features a unique item called the Vehicle Backup Tool that lets you store your Sandbike and Scout Ornithopter in your inventory. This not only keeps your vehicle safe but also allows you to easily retrieve it whenever you need. How To Get the Vehicle Backup Tool in Dune Awakening

To craft a Vehicle Backup Tool, you first need to research its schematic to unlock the item. The Vehicle Backup Tool schematic can be found under the Copper Products section in the Research tab. Once you unlock the schematic, you can craft a Vehicle Backup Tool at a General Fabricator with 6x Copper Ingot and 2x Particle Capacitor. You can find the Vehicle Backup Tool under the Vehicles schematics section at the Fabricator.

How To Store and Restore a Vehicle in Dune Awakening

Once you have crafted a Vehicle Backup Tool, equip it from your inventory. With the tool equipped, aim at your vehicle and click the left mouse button to store it in your inventory. Remember, you can only store vehicles with an empty inventory. So, make sure you remove any items from the vehicle’s inventory space before storing it. You can store up to 10 vehicles using this method. To restore a stored vehicle, simply press the button again while holding the Vehicle Backup Tool.
