Minecraft has significantly evolved from its initial stages over a decade. Still, we have never received a proper, graphical update that changes the look of the whole pixely yet iconic world of the game.
However, after years of begging by the fans, Mojang has released its anticipated graphics overhaul called the Vibrant Visuals. Want to learn how to activate it? Here’s everything you need to know about the Vibrant Visuals.
Turning on Vibrant Visuals in Minecraft
The Vibrant Visuals is a complete, never-before-seen graphic overhaul by Mojang Studios; it doesn’t need any specific shader to run. While it changes the look of the game, the innate and pixel aesthetic remains as legendary as ever.
To activate the Vibrant Visuals, you need to pause the game first. Open the settings section and go into the video sub-section. At the bottom of the page, you will find the option to turn on the newly introduced Visuals. Right now, it is impossible to access the visuals correctly since they’re still unreleased, and you must change the Bedrock edition to the Preview Version.
Once activated, you can now return to the game to fully immerse yourself in the world of Minecraft from a different perspective. It may seem a bit clunky and weird at first glance, but as you continue to progress through, you’ll understand how much hard work was poured into it. From caves, to lightings, and enemies, everything has been reworked from the ground up to give a more realistic, yet pixel-y look.
Unfortunately, the Vibrant Visuals feature is currently in development and is not available on most of the game’s versions. You can only activate them on the Bedrock edition, which you can download on specific devices. Mojang has announced its plan to release the visuals on the Java edition, but it will take a while.
