Here is how you can unlock the garage for Benny’s Original Motor Works in GTA Online and customize your vehicle with unique upgrades.
Benny’s Original Motor Works is a must-have if you’re someone who loves customizing cars in GTA Online. This auto shop offers unique customization options for a select number of cars. It works similar to Los Santos Customs but with extra features. However, you don’t unlock Benny’s garage from the get-go. You will need to do a bit of work in order to use the garage.
Here is a guide on how to unlock Benny’s Garage in GTA Online and start customizing your vehicles.

How To Access Benny’s Garage in GTA Online
To unlock Benny’s garage in GTA Online, you need to check out the Lowriders quest marker on the map. It is the “LD” icon located in Chamberlain Hills. There may be two of the same icons on the map. Make sure you click on the marker and see if it’s a contact mission involving Lamar Davis.
Once you are in the location, step inside the yellow marker and Lamar should contact you. After the call, a new marker will be shown on the map. Head to the location in Strawberry, Los Santos. This is where the garage of Benny’s Original Motor Works is located in GTA Online. However, it won’t be accessible yet. You need to activate a cutscene first. Step into the yellow marker to get started.
Once the cutscene is over, you will be directed to a mission screen that requires three more players to start. You do not need to start this mission. Simply leave the screen and you will be redirected back to your in-game session.
Afterward, you will have unlocked Benny’s garage. Simply drive up to the garage with a compatible vehicle to start customizing them. If the car is compatible with the unique customizations offered, you get an option to upgrade with extra modifications while inside the garage.

Where To Get Compatible Vehicles for Benny’s Original Motor Works in GTA Online
You can check the website of Benny’s Original Motor Works on the in-game phone for vehicles that are compatible with the auto shop’s customization options. If it’s not on the main screen, check the Travel and Transport tab.
