Water is essential in Dune Awakening, and the Fremen Deathstill lets you collect it in a truly gruesome way.

Dune Awakening is set on Arrakis, a scorching world that punishes you at every turn. Water plays a crucial role in the deserts, allowing you to stay hydrated and withstand the extreme heat. While Dew Reapers and Windtraps let you collect water naturally from the environment, Blood Purifier takes a darker turn by extracting water from blood. However, Dune Awakening features an even brutal method to farm water.
To survive the harsh deserts, you need to save water from every possible source — even from corpses. Yes, you can actually extract water from dead bodies using a specific device called Fremen Deathstill in Dune Awakening. Let’s break down how it works.
How To Get Fremen Deathstill in Dune Awakening
To craft a Fremen Deathstill, you need to complete the Eight Trial. Once you have completed the Journey: The Footsteps of the Fremen, you can build a Fremen Deathstill at your base with the Construction Tool. Although it doesn’t require any Intel points, the Fremen Deathstill requires power from the base generator to function. After unlocking its schematic from the Steel Products in Water Discipline, you can build a Fremen Deathstill using 60x Steel Ingot, 28x Silicone Block, and 32x Complex Machinery.
You can also upgrade to an Advanced Fremen Deathstill, which can be unlocked from the Duraluminum Products.
How Does the Fremen Deathstill Work in Dune Awakening?

As mentioned, Fremen Deathstill requires power to operate. Once you have powered up the Fremen Deathstill, all you need is a corpse. There is no shortage of enemies in Arrakis — kill one and pick up their corpse. Head back to your base and deposit the corpse into the Fremen Deathstill. The Fremen device extracts the fluids from the corpse and converts them into drinkable water after a processing time of one hour.
