Dune Awakening has many useful tools to enhance the user experience, and the Vehicle Backup Tool is one of them. Its work is exactly as the name suggests. It stores your favorite vehicles and delivers them to you when you need them the most. However, it comes with its limitations.

For example, it can only store a Sandbike or a Scout Ornithopter. We say “or” because you can only store one vehicle at a time! It shows the number of vehicles owned by the player, but it can only store one of them. Even if you build another Vehicle Backup Tool, it will have the same old vehicle stored inside it.

First and foremost, building the Vehicle Backup Tool in Dune Awakening is important. You will need Copper Ingot (6) and Particle Capacitor (2) for your ambitious project. Once you have the required resources, simply walk up to a standard Fabricator and find the tool under the Vehicles section. Next, you will need to store the vehicles you want.

After you have acquired the Vehicle Backup Tool, equip it and aim it at a vehicle you wish to store. Simply press the key bound to activate it, and if the vehicle is still in range, two green arrows should confirm to you the available storage space. To restore a stored vehicle, point the Vehicle Backup Tool at an empty space until you see a hologram of a vehicle. It should be green in color to indicate that your restoration will go smoothly. Now, press the key bound to activate, and your vehicle will be restored right away!

The process is usually smooth, but restoration of a vehicle can face a minor delay if there is a server lag. In this case, you just need to keep moving with the tool equipped until the green hologram appears. Moreover, you may not be able to restore a vehicle inside a PvP zone and may need to return to a PvE zone to restore it.
