The Chamber of Resonance is located beneath the sands near the Great Pyramid of King Khufu. It is covered by a barricade of bricks. As you progress through the main questline titled The Idol of Ra, you will reach this hidden chamber. At the base of the Sphinx pyramid, you will find a significant stone tablet. Use your camera to closely examine the Dream Stele and decipher hints about the locations etched into the tablet’s surface.
After identifying all four locations, a marker will appear on your map. It will point to the emblem associated with the Great Pyramid of King Khufu. Now, navigate toward this grand pyramid in the distance, where you will find a small encampment nearby. On a table, there lies a hammer, which is essential for your progress. Pick it up and use it to break through the brick barrier blocking the entrance near the pyramid.
Descend the slope, and you will come across a doorway on the left that leads further into the underground passage. As you venture deeper, an area filled with debris will appear. Crawling through the rubble will finally bring you to the mysterious Chamber of Resonance.

Steps To Solve the Chamber of Resonance Puzzle
Gather the Tools You Need
You will need a camera to capture the details of the tablets. Also, have Dr. Lombardi’s journal handy. This journal will play a vital role in interpreting the symbols.
Start With the Chamber
Four tablets are located in the chamber itself. Walk around and take pictures of the complete ones you see on the walls. These photographs will log critical symbols, so focus on each detail. Don’t skip the tablet that looks damaged—you’ll deal with it soon.
When prompted, open the journal to decipher the first symbol, Vuha, meaning “oath.” This action begins the puzzle and sets you on your way to uncovering the remaining symbols.
Find the Hidden Corridor
Look for a section of the wall with a narrow hole near the bottom. Crawl through this space to enter a hidden corridor. Keep a lighter ready because the area will be dark. If the lighter extinguishes, reignite it immediately.
In this corridor, light the first brazier you see. This action reveals the fourth tablet. Take a picture of it to log the symbol Eo-shohd, meaning “the secret.”
Continue Through the Corridor
As you move deeper, you’ll find another brazier. Light it to reveal the fifth tablet, which shows the symbol Lezeem, meaning “heed.” At the corridor’s end, you’ll discover the missing fragment of the broken tablet from the main chamber. Collect it carefully, as it’s a key piece of the puzzle.
Return to the Main Chamber
Before heading back, grab the nearby metal pole. Use it to break a fragile wall to your right. This will provide a shortcut to return to the main chamber. Once back, attach the fragment to the broken tablet. Now you can take a photograph of it to log the final symbols: Al haht sheram, meaning “of the name.”
Solve the Tablet Sequence
With all six tablets documented, head to the central statue in the chamber. Place the photos on the small table in front of it. Here’s the correct sequence to follow:
- Heed
- The Lord’s
- Oath
- Protect
- The Secret
- Of the Name
Take your time and select each photo in the right order. Indy will recite the words aloud as you go.
Moving Forward
