In this Indiana Jones and the Great Circle guide, we shall go over the House of God puzzle in the Vatican region.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is filled to the brim with puzzles, all of which put the great professor’s famed intellect to the test. As Indiana Jones’ hunt for the stolen Cat Mummy brings him to the Vatican, he stumbles across a mysterious Basilica Church replica, also called the House of God. This mysterious replica resembles a puzzle box with a handle and strange features. The puzzle is one of the trickier puzzles in the game and can leave you confused and frustrated. In this Indiana Jones and the Great Circle guide, we shall go over the House of God puzzle in the Vatican.
How To Solve the House of God Puzzle
The first observation that you’ll make when looking at the House of God Basilica replica is its handle. The handle is on the lower half of the replica and can be interacted with by pressing E on PC or X on Xbox. You can move the handle to the left or right.
The Relief Medallion in the House of God
The first thing you need to do is to move the handle towards the right. Doing so will open a secret compartment on the left side of the replica. Move to the left end of the replica and retrieve the Relief Medallion from the newly revealed compartment by interacting with it (E on PC, X on Xbox).
Indy will give you the next hint himself, stating that the Relief Medallion “must fit somewhere.” Hold on to the medallion for now and head back to the replica handle from earlier. This time, turn the handle towards the left. Doing so will open another secret compartment on the right side of the replica.
The new compartment has a small depression, conveniently shaped just like the Relief Medallion we picked up earlier. Place the medallion into the depression by looking at the depression and pressing the interact key (E on PC, X on Xbox). You will then hear the gears turning and another sound signaling that you’ve unlocked a compartment.
The Golden Chalice in the House of God
A new compartment has opened up towards the left side of the House of God Basilica replica. Loot the new compartment to obtain the Golden Chalice. Now, head back to the front of the Basilica replica. Place the Golden Chalice in front of the church building in the replica, which will then open the final compartment at the bottom of the replica and complete the House of God puzzle. You will obtain the Vatican Relic as a reward for doing so.
