FragPunk, NetEase’s new hero shooter, supports full cross-play functionality across all platforms, including PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
The new team-based shooter FragPunk supports full crossplay across all platforms—PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. FragPunk is NetEase’s next iconic hero shooter after its recent hit Marvel Rivals. Developed by Bad Guitar Studio, the subsidiary of NetEase Games’ Thunder Fire Studio, FragPunk is a free-to-play 5v5 team-based shooter, featuring dynamic rules-breaking mechanics through Shard Cards.
The first-person hero shooter launched on PC on March 6, 2025, with the console release delayed indefinitely. Here’s what you need to know about FragPunk’s crossplay functionality, along with whether the hero shooter features cross-progression or not.

FragPunk Crossplay Explained
The developers have confirmed that FragPunk features full crossplay support across all platforms. This means that PC players can play together with those on consoles seamlessly and vice versa. While the crossplay functionality is enabled by default, players can also turn it off if they prefer to play exclusively on their own platform. Since cross-play functionality can extend the longevity of multiplayer games, its inclusion is a significant advantage for NetEase’s latest shooter.
However, with the console release delayed without any confirmed release date, players on PC can currently play with others on the same platform. The closed beta test for FragPunk, held from October 10- 21, 2024, also featured crossplay support between PC and Xbox Series X/S.

Does FragPunk Support Cross-Progression?
Another notable feature related to crossplay is cross-progression, which allows players to carry their progress across different platforms. Fortunately, FragPunk supports cross-progression as well, enabling players to transfer their progress between PC and consoles. Since FragPunk is a free-to-play title, cross-progression is crucial, as many players will likely try the game on multiple platforms. They can access their battle pass, characters, and unlocks by simply logging in to their account.
