WWE 2K25 will not be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch. But will the game eventually appear on Microsoft’s service?

WWE 2K25 is almost ready for full release. The latest entry in 2K’s pro wrestling game series is set to release on March 14. However, if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber hoping to play the game on day one using your subscription, there’s some disappointing news. The wrestling game won’t be making its debut on Xbox Game Pass, at least at launch.
When Will WWE 2K25 Arrive on Xbox Game Pass?

As explained, the game won’t be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch on March 14. At the moment, there isn’t any official news about a possible date when the game might be available on Microsoft’s platform. So, even though the new title will launch on current and previous-gen Xbox consoles, you will need to buy it to play immediately. Alternatively, you can wait for the game to eventually arrive on Xbox Game Pass. However, we can’t promise whether this will happen in the future.

History of 2K’s WWE Games on Xbox Game Pass

If the past record is any indication, the chances of the latest WWE game reaching Xbox Game Pass look slim. 2K hasn’t released any of its WWE titles on the subscription service yet. This could hold true for the upcoming release as well.
However, fans might hold on to some hope of WWE 2K25 eventually reaching Xbox Game Pass, as 2K has recently brought a few of its NBA titles to Microsoft’s service. This might be an indication that the publisher is open to introducing games from their other series as well. For the time being, though, you’ll need to buy the wrestling game if you want to play it on day one.
