Twitch streamer Jynxzi shares his honest review of Marvel Rivals, calling it “too brain rot” yet addictive, with a 7/10 rating.
Twitch streamer Nicholas “Jynxzi” recently shared his candid thoughts on the viral game Marvel Rivals, describing it as “too brain rot” for his taste. The streamer said that the game is definitely fun, and he could see it being addictive. However, he elaborated that he does not think anyone would be playing the game in a year. Commenting on the game’s mechanics, Jynxzi said that it was just spam, run, and die.
“Okay that game’s too brain rot for me though. Chat its just run, spam, die, that game is too brain rot.”
Nick usually plays Rainbow Six Siege, which is a slow-paced game as opposed to the fast-paced nature of Marvel Rivals. The streamer rated the game a “solid 7/10.” Marvel Rivals is a 6v6 PvP game that features superheroes like Iron Man, Captain America, and many others. The game features various modes, including domination, convoy, and convergence.
Jynxzi tried the game and found it fun but seemingly criticized the repetitiveness. He mentioned that he heard the Groot ultimate “like a hundred times.” YouTuber SamitoFPS stated that Nicholas’s comments weren’t surprising considering his background in R6:
Rivals Community React to Jynxzi’s Review
Despite the game’s recent launch, Marvel Rivals has garnered a huge community following. Unsurprisingly, the community did not take Jynxzi’s review lightly, as he was criticized by many. Some pointed out that Nicholas plays an almost decade-old game, while others seemed to agree with his statements, mentioning that the game will die down once streamers stop playing it.
Some comments on the post by user @RivalsAssembled, stated:
“Still playing Siege 8 years later,” wrote @DylanDubs_.
“I feel like these games always get super addicting at first, then die out fast,” wrote @charlioface.
“7/10 is a pretty guud rating for a negative outlook on the game future lol,” wrote another user.
Although the game’s popularity does not seem to be slowing down just yet, its future appears to be bright. The game recently hit a record-breaking player count of over 600,000 players worldwide. The game is currently supported on the latest generation consoles and PC. However, it will not be released for the PlayStation 4 or any of its variants.
