Storm’s Mobility

Storm has a movement speed of 6 m/s; however, it can be boosted with the Goddess Boost ability. She is an aerial DPS and can move freely around the map. But sometimes a flying enemy catches a lot of attention, so positioning is the key to surviving and thriving.

Storm’s Survivability

The Goddess of weather has 250 HP, which can be increased by +450 bonus health when she’s ulting. Aside from this scenario, Storm is a squishy character who can be eliminated by many characters easily. She is not made for rushing down the enemies but to provide support damage and buff to allies. As Season 1 went live, she received a damage buff that helps her in eliminating the opponents more efficiently.

Storm’s Playstyle and Combos

Storm is a poke hero. Her primary and secondary are projectile-type attacks that damage the opponents very quickly. Stay behind the vanguards to use her at her full potential. Use the Goddess Boost ability to give a boost to the vanguards and Storm herself while plummeting the enemies. Keep an eye on her cooldowns and keep switching between Tornado and Thunder as the game moves forward.

As the enemies group up, unleash her ultimate ability, “Omega Hurricane,” to punish all the grouped-up enemies by sucking them into the hurricane and doing 150 damage per second. Her ultimate can change the game when used correctly.

While Storm is a good all-rounder DPS, she shines the most when paired with Thor. The team-up ability, “Charged Gale,” grants her an extra damage-dealing ability. This ability unleashes a lightning attack that bounces between three enemies. Additionally, here’s the team composition that can benefit Storm and her team:

  • Doctor Strange
  • Thor
  • Storm
  • Moon Knight
  • Cloak and Dagger
  • Mantis

Players can switch Mantis with Luna Snow if Mantis does not work out for them.

Storm Counters in Marvel Rivals

Storm can be a very annoying agent to deal with because of her high damage output. Some players might not even see what hit them before dying. Hence, countering Storm should be a top priority when she’s on the other side.

However, countering Storm is easy, as she can be spotted very easily. Any long-range character, such as Hawkeye, Hela, and Black Widow, can kill her very fast. Moreover, crowd control abilities like stun, immobilize, and sedate can bring her down very quickly.
