In short, the Trosky Chamberlain will claim that the castle has a demon infestation issue and will ask for your help in the matter. We admit that the quest can be frustrating for players at times, and that is why, in this guide, we will tell you how to complete the KCD 2 Demons of Trosky mission.

To start the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Demons of Trosky quest, you must find Chamberlain Ulrich and ask him if he has any work for you. When you accept the task, Ulrich will offer you either Holy Water or Magic Water. You can pick any one of them since it does not make much difference.

The Chamberlain will tell you about three people you should talk to regarding this demon infestation matter. The cook Manyeta will be the closest to your location, so you should speak to her first. You will be able to find her in the kitchen, which is in the eastern part of the castle. Manyeta will ask you to pour water into five different fireplaces, which are somewhere on the crone’s side of Trosky Castle.

Don’t worry, once you speak to her, the general location of the fireplaces will be marked on your map; all you will have to do is go and find them.

Manyeta’s Tasks

The first fireplace is not a traditional fireplace, which makes the quest a bit tricky. Take the stairs right of the bathhouse and go up to the kitchen; there you will have to pour water on the stove to complete the first objective. Now go up the stairs through the kitchen and enter the room to your left. The second fireplace will be easy enough to find on the left side of the room.

You will have to now go back through the door you came from and then take the three flights of stairs to find the Scribe’s room. You will see the third fireplace right when you enter the room, so it will be pretty hard to miss. Then you will have to go two flights of stairs and enter through the door on your left, then take another set of stairs and you will stumble upon a dining room that has the fourth fireplace. Lastly, go up through another set of stairs and enter the bedroom with the final fireplace.

Speak to Bertha

You will have to go to the kitchen in the southwest part of the castle now to speak to another cook named Bertha. She will ask you to do the exact same thing but now on the Maiden’s side of the castle. Exit the kitchen, head down the stairs, and walk in the opposite direction, and you will find yet another kitchen. Pour the water onto the stove to complete the first objective.

Head up the stairs in the kitchen and go to the left to find another set of stairs. Again, go up and enter the first room you see and you will find the second fireplace. Simply go to the room left of that fireplace to find the dining room with the third fireplace. Now go back and take the stairs again, enter the door with the guard standing next to it, and the fourth fireplace will be there. Take the door next to the fourth fireplace to enter the room with the final fireplace.

Talk to the Blacksmith Osina

Finally, find the smithy near the castle grounds and talk to the blacksmith named Osina there. He will claim that he knows where the demons are coming from. Henry will have to check out three different spots to complete Osina’s objectives. The first place will be the lower room of the guardhouse; check the toilet places to complete the first task. Now head back and tell Osina that the foul smell is coming from the toilet and there is nothing more to it.

Osina will then suggest that you look into the tower on the Maiden’s side of the castle. And to no one’s surprise, it’s just another toilet. Go back to him and tell him what you found. The last place Osina will ask you to inspect is the tower on the Crone’s side of the castle. Spoiler alert, it is another toilet with no signs of any demon. Tell Osina that you found nothing again, and he will tell you that he was just joking with you. You can fight Osina if you want to, but we recommend that you just let it go.

Go Back and Talk to the Chamberlin

When all of the tasks are finished, go back to the chamberlain and give him a report on the events so far. He will reward you with some Groschen, and you will gain some reputation with Scholarship, Vitality, and Survival skill boosts. And that is the end of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2′ Demons of Trosky quest.
