Helping others is a noble deed. This guide explains how to help the wounded in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

One of the main quests in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, named The Finger of God, makes you bury unfortunate soldiers who died in a misunderstanding accompanied by Father Godwin. Additionally, in this quest, near the end, you get an optional section about treating three wounded soldiers. It might be a bit confusing how to treat them properly, as not following the proper steps might lead them to death.
In this guide, we explain how and why you should help the wounded in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
Talking to Klara on How To Help the Wounded

The marker for this optional task in The Finger of God mission is shown on the map right after you find yourself in the medical hut on the palisades. Outside the medical hut, you can see Klara sitting on a bench. She will be angry at Henry for harming allies during the siege. However, you can subside Klara’s anger by helping her treat the wounded soldiers in the Nebakov Fortress. You can completely skip this part of the quest, but this stops you from romancing Klara.
Talk to Klara and ask her every detail regarding treating the wounded soldiers. Go back in the hut, and climb up the ladder to loot the chest containing every necessary medical supplies you need. Next, go out and head to the lower Fortress where you can find the soldiers you need to treat.

Help Kozliek in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
After exiting the hut, head right and down the Fortress. Walk until you reach the mission marker and start treating the soldier sleeping on the right first. Additionally, you get the chance to examine Kozliek with a skill check or decide on a potion to give, which gives you a reputation for passing. Failing these skill checks results in a negative reputation, so we suggest skipping the treatment and following the steps below to help Kozliek:
- I’ll clean his wound (Use Water or Schnapp)
- I’ll change his bandage (Automatic use of bandage)
- I’ll give him a potion (Give a Fever Tonic)
- We’re all done (Finish treatment)
- I’ve done enough
Help Mark in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
Right beside Kozliek, Mark will be lying down as well. However, he is writhing in pain with a headache. Like before, exhaust the skill checks if you want to gain reputation or skip to the treatment steps below:
- I’ll clean your wounds, just don’t fall asleep
- I’ll clean your wound (Use Water or Schnapp)
- I’ll dress your wound (Automatic use of bandage)
- I’ll give you a potion (Give a Painkiller Potion)
- That’s all (Finish treatment)
- I treated you

Help Zwerk in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
Finally, on the left of Mark, some stairs lead to an underground storage area. There are various chests here that you can loot for resources before treating Zwerk. The patient is lying by the wall on the right side of the area. Talk to him and exhaust the dialogues to start the treatment as shown below:
- I’ll clean your wound (Use Water or Schnapp)
- I’ll sew up your wound (requires a Tailor’s Kit)
- I’ll dress your wound (Automatic use of bandage)
- I’ll rub this on your ankle: (Give a Chamomille Brew)
- I’ll give you something to drink (Give four alcoholic drinks of your choice)
- All done (Finish treatment)
- I treated your wounds
Rewards for helping the wounded in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Once you have helped all the wounded people, return to Klara and report your actions. She rewards you with the following items and says that she will check on the soldiers later on after a skill check:
- + Reputation
- Strong Marigold Decoction
- Strong Painkiller Brew
- Strong Artemisia
If you have treated all the soldiers correctly and also passed the skill check during her dialogue, you get a romance scene with Klara at night. Lastly, this provides you with the Time Well Spent buff, which can be very helpful for the upcoming huge battle.
