In this guide, we have mentioned everything that is required to complete the Opus Magnum Mission in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is a highly acclaimed RPG. In this game, you can receive various quests from NPCs all around Bohemia. Miller Kreyzl is one of these NPCs from whom you can receive some sidequests.
One of these quests is called Opus Magnum, where you need to recruit a lady to sneak into a castle. This sidequest is received the moment you hand in its prerequisite mission. In this guide, we have explained how to complete the Opus Magnum Mission in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
Recruiting a Lady for Opus Magnum

Opus Magnum starts the moment you hand in the Forbidden Fruit sidequest to Miller Kreyzl. Accepting this quest will help you gain access to the wedding, as Kreyzl needs you to steal an important alchemical book from inside the Trosky Castle. Go to the Zhelejov bathhouse in the northwest Troskowitz.
Talk to the owner of the bathhouse, Dorothy, and choose any dialogue as they don’t matter. None of the girls at the bathhouse wants to get close to the chamberlain. Dorothy then suggests you visit the Nomad’s camp and look for Enneleyn.
Go to the marked area on the map and look for a woman in a yellow dress with brown tied-up hair. Enneleyns location changes depending on the time of the day, but you can find her within the marked area. Talk to her, and she agrees to go in return for perfume, wine, and a special dress.

Procuring the Necessary Items

Obtaining the wine is the easiest step, as you can use any type. Buy one from the tavern for 1 Groschen if you do not have any. Now, go to Innkeeper Betty in Troskowitz and ask about the perfume. She admits to buying the whole stock from town and agrees to sell you one perfume for a high price of 499 Groschen. You can steal it from her later on but do not talk about this anymore, or else her suspicion rises.
Wait till 6 am and go up to the inn to pickpocket the perfume from her body. You can also steal a set of keys from her and steal the Heavy Mintha from a chest in the room.
Additionally, you can choose to craft the Mintha Perfume yourself by buying the ingredients from the apothecary. Moreover, follow the recipe below.
- Add 3 Dandelions and 1 Mint to the mortar, grind, and pour into the cauldron.
- Boil for two turns.
- Add 1 Marigold to the cauldron.
- Boil for one turn using the bellows.
- Prepare vial and distill.
This perfume raises your Charisma by three on use. Furthermore, crafting this is the cheapest option—in case you don’t want to get caught stealing. The only thing that remains is to buy the special dress. Go and buy the dress from tailor Bartoshek in Troskowitz. Look at his wares and buy the Tyrol brocade cotehardie for 272 Groschen. With this, you are halfway done with the Opus Magnum Mission in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
Gaining Access to the Castle
You can now go back to Enneleyn and tell her that you are ready for the wedding. You need to have clothing that totals 16 Charisma otherwise she won’t leave. Go to the tailor and buy whatever you need. Additionally, make sure you are washed and not hungry, as those reduce your charisma. Once done, talk to Enneleyn again, which skips to the wedding.
The mission Magnum Opus is now on hold until you progress through Wedding Crashers main mission and gain access to the castle. Moreover, you need to complete For Whom the Bell Tolls to fully unlock the castle. Once you have completed all these missions, you can continue once again with Opus Magnum and complete it this time.

Finding the Alchemical Book in Opus Magnum

After completing For Whom the Bells Tolls, talk to Scribe Erazim about the book you are looking for. His exact location will vary, so check the map marker. Erazim usually in the upstairs castle’s west wing. He tells you that someone named Nikvard has borrowed the book from him, so you must track him down. Be sure to ask him where to find all the people who last saw Nikvard, it then adds their markers on the map. If you don’t ask about them, they won’t be marked. From here, you have to go around and ask these people to gain clues about Nikvard.
Firstly, talk to Bertha, the cook, and pass a high charisma check to know about Nikvard. She tells you that he has soiled his pants and taken a bellyache potion. Second, talk to Regina, the maid, and she says about the message she got from Nikvard. Moreover, the message informs that he accidentally dropped the book in the toilet. Lastly, talk to the stableboy Hersh, who asks for a longsword from you. Give him any longsword you want, and he suggests you look outside the castle before he runs off.
Return to Scribe Erazim and tell him about the clues you found. The objective will now be marked on the map, and you have to go and look outside the castle under the guardhouse. Leave the castle through the front gate and follow the small path around the castle until you reach the cliffs below the guard tower. There, you can find Nikvard’s corpse lying on the ground.
