He remembers the face of the bald man who led the Cuman army in this attack, who is later revealed as German nobleman Sir Markvart von Aulitz—a henchman of Sigismund of Luxembourg.
Henry narrowly escaped death and traveled to Talmberg to warn Sir Divish of the attack. He later goes back to his dilapidated village, Skalitz, finds the corpses of his loved ones and swears revenge.
