In the following guide, we’ll explore how you can begin and complete the Last Target quest in Dune Awakening.
The Assassin’s Handbook is one of the major main story questlines that you can undertake in Dune Awakening. It features 13 separate quests, where you’ll need to assassinate a number of targets for Count Fenring. Completing the questline will help you retrieve a key piece of information that you need to proceed.
During the questline, each quest begins automatically once you’ve completed the previous one. One of the missions is called the Last Target, and it involves you finding out more about the final assassination target that you’ll have to take down. In this guide, we’ll explore how to begin and finish the Last Target quest in Dune Awakening.
How To Start the Last Target Quest in Dune Awakening
As stated before, each quest in the chain begins automatically once you complete the one preceding it. Just before the Last Target quest, you will have to undertake and complete the Water Fat quest. In that quest, you have to infiltrate a high-security mansion and poison the water supply there. When you manage to compromise the water supply, you will return to your base to end the Water Fat quest. After that, Elara Tuek will summon you to talk to her. With that, the Last Target quest will start.

How To Complete the Last Target Quest in Dune Awakening
The primary goal of this quest is to reach Elara Tuek and speak with her. To do that, you’ll need to head to Harko Village. You can either fly your own Ornithopter there if you have one, or you can pay the Ornithopter Pilot to escort you. Either way, when you reach Harko Village, proceed to where Elara is. By this point in the Assassin’s Handbook questline, you already know where she is located.
Talk to her to learn that Count Fenring wants you to take care of one final target, named The Jackal. This particular person is apparently riling up the Pyons in Arrakeen. She asks you to silence The Jackal forever. However, you can’t go in guns blazing. Instead, Elara will give you a Shigawire Garrote, which you need to use to slay the final target.
Keep in mind that the following mission doesn’t allow you to carry or fire guns in the quest area. You will have to stealthily take out The Jackal without anyone in the vicinity noticing. You will receive the Shigawire Garrote and 100 XP for completing the Last Target quest.
