Marvel Rivals: How To Easily Report Bugs

Have you spotted a bug or a glitch in Marvel Rivals and wish to report it to the devs? Here’s the best way you can be a responsible player.

Marvel Rivals didn’t seem to have any official way of reporting a bug. This is something that the MR community has been upset about since the game’s launch. There is no official forum for the game anywhere. According to some fans, the official Discord community has a channel for in-game grievances. However, this can be difficult to find. This is why, there is a feature within the Marvel Rivals game that allows you to report a bug!

The easiest way to tell the developers about your in-game grievances is to report them within the game itself. This is similar, but not the same as reporting a player in Marvel Rivals. To report a bug in the game, follow the steps given below:

  • Launch Marvel Rivals
  • Look to the top-right corner from the Home Screen and you will spot a gear icon. This is the Settings section of the game.
  • Click on it and scroll through the different tabs until you reach Other.
  • If you first face a vertical menu before the screen (refer to the image above) appears, simply select Other or any tab and then scroll over to Other later.
  • Now, you will find a few useful settings here that you can tweak but we are specifically looking for the Report setting.
  • Click on the Submit button and then you can select the nature of your grievance, describe the issue the best way you can, tick the Upload Log checkbox, and select Upload.

Hopefully, the developers will take note of this grievance and come to our rescue with the help of the next major or minor patch update.

What Bugs Can You Report in Marvel Rivals?

On the screen, after you click Submit under the Report setting, you will find your UID written across the Character ID tab. Since it is auto-generated, you don’t need to bother yourself with it too much. The following issues can be selected:

  • Shader Compilation Failure
  • GPU Crash
  • Game Crash
  • Game Lagging and Low Frame Rate
  • Frequent Disconnections
  • Game Launch Failed
  • Server Connection Failed
  • Quit Unexpectedly
  • UI Loading Error

As you can see, there are a variety of issues that you can report as bugs here. These range from basic operational issues to some gameplay issues. You don’t have to file an individual report for your troubles. Simply select multiple checkboxes and then write about them in detail in the chatbox below. If you exceed 1000 characters, you can think about filing multiple reports too.
