Samurai Daisho are special elite enemies guarding these castles, significantly stronger than the regular ones. Defeating them is essential to loot the valuable Legendary Chests. Taking advantage of stealth assassinations is an ideal approach against them, as a direct encounter could prove challenging.

Azuchi Castle is one of the many places that rewards a legendary item. Positioned at the top of a steep hill, Azuchi Castle is unique and tricky to navigate. Where to Find Azuchi Castle in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Azuchi Castle is one of the castles situated in the Omi region. While other castles like Sakamoto, Omizo, and Nagahama are set along the coastlines of Lake Biwa, Azuchi Castle is positioned at the top of a steep hill southeast of the lake. It is surrounded by Eastern Barracks, Training Grounds, Nobutada Estate, and Military Harbour. 

Azuchi Castle is classified as a low-wealth base, with four Samurai Daisho found across the castle. Moreover, these four Samurai appear in pair at two specific locations, making it easy to spot them.

Samurai Daisho are marked with a distinct Samurai helmet symbol on the HUD. Using the observe mechanic allows you to trace and pinpoint their locations.

• Samurai Daisho 1: Infiltrate the castle by entering through the Eastern Barracks. Follow along the outer walls of the barracks towards the east to spot your target (first Samurai Daisho). He patrols the open area in the southeast region. 
• Samurai Daisho 2: Continue along the outer walls of the barrack, moving east to get to the other side, where you can spot the second Samurai Daisho under a shelter.
• Samurai Daisho 3: Once you are done with the first two, stop wasting your time outside the castle and get to the main building of the castle, where the remaining two Samurai are located. Head northwest towards the castle, utilizing your various parkour skills. Once you reach the main building, get inside and go to the second floor, where the third Samurai Daisho patrols the center of the main hall. 
• Samurai Daisho 4: The interior of the castle is heavily guarded by enemies and NPCs, making it challenging to navigate without getting spotted. Use the stairs in the main hall to get to the third floor. The fourth and final Samurai Daisho is found inside the room at the center of the floor, alongside another enemy. Finally, assassinate the last Samurai to get your hands on the coveted Legendary Chest.

While you receive a Master Point for each Samurai Daisho kill, eliminating all of them unlocks access to Legendary Chest. Looting the Legendary Chest at Azuchi Castle grants the Legendary Helmet Ship Captain’s Mask, which reflects projectiles toward enemies on Parry.
