Will the minor patch coming to Marvel Rivals on March 13, 2025, have any server downtime? Here’s all you need to know.
Marvel Rivals will receive another patch on March 13, 2025, following the release of Season 1.5. As promised, the developers swooped in to make these minor balance changes outside of their big update schedule. The last time a patch came in, it was when Season 1.5 first arrived. Naturally, there were a few hours’ worth of downtime. But what about the minor patch arriving on March 13?
Marvel Rivals March 13 Downtime Explored
The primary objective of the incoming March 13 Patch was to make certain balance changes to some heroes. These heroes include Cloak & Dagger, Human Torch, and Iron Man. Since the changes are not huge, there will be no server downtime! That’s right. Once the time has come, the patch will be automatically applied without players ever having to close the game.
Whenever you open your system before March 13, the game file will either automatically download, or you will have to manually queue it for a download, depending on your system settings. Since the file will be small, you won’t notice it in the background that much. The updates will roll out worldwide at the scheduled time, and players will experience the balance changes right away!
This is how a lot of minor updates have been applied to the game in the past. The only time we faced a downtime for patches and updates was the Season switch from S0 to S1 and S1 to S1.5.
