Not only will Snake find himself outmatched, but you also have to complete the final battle with the Boss in under 10 minutes. This added restriction only increases the overall difficulty spike of the battle. However, seasoned players might already know how to get through the fight without breaking too much of a sweat.

How To Defeat the Boss in Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater

Without a doubt, the other bosses in the game pale in comparison to the challenge posed by Naked Snake’s final enemy, the Boss. During the entire fight, you’ll have to watch out for the gunfire from her weapon, The Patriot. Besides that, you’ll also have to dominate her during CQC (Close Quarters Combat). Here are two ways to beat her.

Easy Method

This method relies on explosives, such as Claymores, to get the job done. Here is the complete process you can follow:

• Step 1: After the initial confrontation ends, hide from the Boss. Equip Claymores and plant them around some of the trees in the area.
• Step 2: Lure the Boss toward the planted explosives. However, make sure you don’t attempt this while you’re visible, as she can shoot the charges from far away and cause Snake to take damage from the resulting explosions.
• Step 3: Repeat the process of luring the Boss toward the Claymores a few more times to finish the fight.

Challenging Method

If you’re confident in your abilities, you can take down the Boss using the following method:

• Step 1: Time your CQC movements perfectly and counter the Boss’s attacks. If you do it correctly, Snake will be able to throw her to the ground.
• Step 2: When that happens, quickly fire a couple of shots at her and then run off.
• Step 3: Locate the Boss and fire off a few more shots at her while she searches around for you.
• Step 4: Quickly unequip your weapon while she charges toward you. Otherwise, she will disarm you and throw away your weapon.
• Step 5: Repeat the CQC counter method a few more times, and each time fire shots at her while she’s down.

Eventually, this method will defeat her. To make things slightly easier, you should know that you can recover your stamina by killing and consuming two snakes in the arena where the fight takes place. You can also throw any of your captured wild animals at the Boss to momentarily distract her. Use such opportunities to get in a few shots.
