Find out how you can get and save a Normal or Tempered Seregios Investigation in Monster Hunter Wilds and take part in another flying hunt.

While Lagiacrus was more or less known to arrive with the Monster Hunter Wilds TU2, another flying menace also made its debut in this iteration of the franchise. Seregios joins the roster and poses to be a formidable threat during the late-game phases. This monster classifies as a Flying Wyvern, although it stays grounded for the majority of the hunt. However, it does have some hovering combos that can deal quite a lot of damage if you are not careful above.
Before you can regularly partake in Seregios hunts, you need to unlock it to ensure it spawns in the open world so that you can save it as an investigation. In this article, we will explain how you can easily get Normal and Tempered Seregios investigations in Monster Hunter Wilds. The process is simple, but you need to complete its related story quest first.
How To Get Normal and Tempered Seregios Investigation in Monster Hunter Wilds

Normal and Tempered Seregios will appear on the map only after you complete the Clear With A Chance of Sandstorm quest in Monster Hunter Wilds. After you have done this quest, both variants of Seregios will be available in the overworld. Once this happens, you can either create a quest for it and start directly or save it as an investigation to complete later.
Here are the conditions to unlock and get normal and Tempered Seregios investigations in Monster Hunter Wilds:
- Reach HR 31 and complete the Clear With A Chance of Sandstorm quest.
- Look at the Windward Plains and Wyveria regions to see if any variant of Seregios has spawned.
- Make sure you have the necessary amount of Guild Points to save them as investigations.
For the normal variant of Seregios, you will need 300 Guild Points to save it as an investigation. However, you will need 400 Guild Points to save a Tempered Seregios investigation in Monster Hunter Wilds.
When and Where Does Seregios Appear in Monster Hunter Wilds?

Both variants of Seregios can spawn in either the Windward Plains or Wyveria regions of Monster Hunter Wilds. Similar to every other monster, this is a chance-spawn, and is not guaranteed. However, we have found Seregios to spawn more frequently during these conditions:
- Daytime during the Fallow season.
- Daytime during the Inclemency season (Sandtide and Wyvern’s Wakening.)
You can easily check if any Seregios variant has spawned in your map by cycling through the regions in your map. If the monster is nowhere to be seen, head to any Pop-Up camp and keep changing the weather conditions till it finally appears. Make sure that you have a sufficient amount of Guild Points, as changing weather will consume some of it.
Both variants of Seregios will initially appear as 8-star difficulty with 3-star strength. As you keep defeating it, its strength will keep increasing with subsequent appearances. This mechanic is the same for all investigations, including the Lagiacrus investigations in Monster Hunter Wilds as well.
How To Save Normal and Tempered Seregios Investigations in Monster Hunter Wilds

You can directly save any variant of Seregios as an investigation once it appears on the map by following these steps:
- When you spot any variant of Seregios on the map, press the Confirm button on that region.
- Next, select the Create Quest option.
- From the list, select Seregios and hit the Confirm button once again.
- Use the required amount of Guild Points to save the investigation.
Note that you can only have a maximum of 50 investigations saved at any given point in MH Wilds. In case you already have the maximum number, you will need to remove a few to make space for Seregios investigations. Once saved, you can participate in the Seregios hunt three times in Monster Hunter Wilds.
