A new Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase has been announced, featuring a brand-new trailer for the game, more details on the upcoming OBT 2, and more. The new showcase comes courtesy of the Capcom Spotlight event, which will be followed by a 15-minute Monster Hunter presentation.
Furthermore, given the game’s approaching release date, this is quite possibly the last marketing push Capcom has planned for Monster Hunter Wilds. According to Capcom’s announcement, the Spotlight event will feature a new gameplay trailer for MH Wilds. Additionally, the 15-minute post-event showcase will be helmed by Ryozo Tsujimoto (Producer on MH Wilds) with some surprises for OBT 2.

Monster Hunter Wilds’ latest showcase is scheduled for February 4, 2025, at 2 PM Pacific Time (PT). The Capcom Spotlight event will be roughly 20 minutes long, showcasing not only MH Wilds but also other upcoming titles from the publisher. Following the Spotlight event, there will be a 15-minute Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase.
Furthermore, the Showcase will be helmed by Ryozo Tsujimoto and will include additional details about the upcoming title and the second Open Beta Test (OBT). The event will also include a few other surprises, including a brand-new trailer for MH Wilds. Capcom has not revealed what they plan to showcase during the MH Wilds event.
However, it can be speculated that the showcase will feature an extensive look at the game’s combat system, especially the improvements made to the final version following feedback on the first OBT. Furthermore, it’s quite likely that Capcom will reveal a new monster for the game or perhaps the post-launch content roadmap for MH Wilds.
