Audino is a Normal-type Pokemon first introduced in Generation V. Introduced as a counterpart to the Generation I Pokemon Chansey, Audino never had a competitive career close to its Kantonian competition due to not having comparable stats. Even receiving a Mega Evolution, and being the only Generation V Pokemon to get one in the initial wave, did not help it a lot. Still, with the smaller dex and changed mechanics, Audino might have the chance to be decent in the Legends Z-A competitive meta.

- Fire Blast

Mega Audino not having its Ability Healer in Legends Z-A does not affect it much, as the Ability was always situational. However, base form Audino loses its Ability Regenerator, which was one of the best Abilities in the game. Still, its decent bulk after Mega Evolving and secondary Fairy typing gives Mega Audino a semblance of a niche in the meta.
Calm Mind gives a boost to Mega Audino’s low Special Attack stat and makes it even bulkier on the Special side. Teach it the move with TM006, which Mable gives you after completing level 26 of her research. Draining Kiss is a better Fairy-type STAB to constantly heal Mega Audino, learning the move at level 16. Fire Blast is useful coverage against Steel-type Pokemon, which is also given to you by Mable as TM038 at level 41 of her research. Finally, Audino can make use of its high 103 HP stat to heal itself and its allies with Wish, which it learns at level 36.

Best Audino Nature in Pokemon Legends Z-A
Go with a Bold (+Def, -Atk) or a Calm (+SpD, -Atk) nature. This will make Audino a lot bulkier and, as such, harder for opponents to KO. You can get either a Bold Mint or a Calm Mint from a vendor in Rouge Sector 1.
