It appears that Switch 2 players will have to download an additional 3.6 GB Day 1 patch. These may include the additional textures and similar assets necessary to provide players with a high-quality experience on the Switch 2. This means that for those players, Pokemon Legends Z-A will be over 10 GB in size.
At this moment, it is unclear if this applies only to those who have pre-ordered the game digitally. If not, it is possible that those with physical copies will also have to download this patch.
