When you finish the Path of Legends, the big revelation comes that Professor Sada/Turo is actually Arven’s parent. Professor Sada will contact Arven and the player, asking for a favor, where he wants them to travel to Area Zero to assist him. Arven becomes noticeably upset by the fact that after so many years, his parent only gets in touch to ask him for a favor.

Arven will also reveal how Sada/Turo was absent for most of his childhood. They were busy studying Area Zero, which caused them to neglect their son. Soon, Sada/Turo completely ceased all contact with Arven, leaving him all alone. His only companion at the time was the Pokemon Mabosstif. Even after all this, Arven decides to heed Professor Sada/Turo’s words and head for Area Zero, only to confront his parent.

After recruiting Namona and Penny, the group heads inside Area Zero. When they finally reach the Professor’s lab, the group gets attacked by several Paradox Pokemon. Arven, Penny, and Namona will fight against them, while the player character ventures inside the lab to speak to the person they believe to be the Professor. However, you’ll soon learn that the real Professor Sada/Turo died a long time ago. The person who contacted them was an AI replica of the Professor.

Another bombshell revelation comes when the AI says that the real Professor Sada/Turo discovered a way and created a Time Machine. This Time Machine is the reason for the swarms of Paradox Pokemon overtaking Area Zero. The AI has security protocols in place that prevent it from shutting down the Time Machine. So, the player and his allies will need to do it manually. However, the security protocols of the place also cause the AI Professor to become hostile to the group and attack.

Once the AI is defeated, it travels to an alternate dimension to destroy the Time Machine and finally rid Area Zero of the Paradox Pokemon. In the end, it also apologizes to Arven on behalf of the real Professor Sada/Turo for the neglect he faced in his childhood. After that, you, Arven, Penny, and Namona will return to the academy.

1) The Teal Mask Ending Explained

The Tral Mask DLC involves the player going to a brand new region, called the Kitakami. During this class trip, they come across fiery Carmine and her soft-hearted brother, Kieran. The brother develops a rivalry with the player character as he suffers constant losses against the player. However, the story soon shifts to the legend of the Loyal Three. According to the locals, the Loyal Three bravely defeated a vengeful ogre in Kitakami, saving the people there. Carmine’s grandfather, however, reveals the true story behind the Loyal Three. He claims that the ogre in the story was the Pokemon Ogerpon, who arrived in Kitakami with an outsider.

The locals made fun of the outsiders because of their different appearance. Taking pity on their plight, a mask maker created masks for them, so they could take part in the village festival. However, the three evil Pokemon stole their masks and destroyed their homes. While Carmine’s grandfather recites the story, Kieran overhears it. He feels excluded and starts a battle with the player character. Upon losing the fight, Kieran vents his frustration and destroys a shrine to the Loyal Three. This resurrects the three evil Pokemon, who go on a rampage in Kitakami.

The player character, aided by Ogerpon, defeats the Loyal Three. They also explain the true events, which clears Ogerpon’s name with the locals. After this, Ogerpon asks to accompany the player character on their journey. However, Kieran wants to claim Ogerpon for himself. A final battle ensues between Kieran and the player. With Kieran defeated again, the player captures Ogerpon, and the school trip comes to an end. Unbeknownst to the player, Kieran pledges to get stronger and defeat the player character in the future.
