Here we will be discussing all the future updates in Rematch and how they will change the face of the game.

Sloclap is highly prioritizing polishing Rematch as well as improving its stability and performance. The launch was a mammoth success, with players pouring in from all around the world to play soccer in a completely new way. Along with the updates, Sloclap is also working on bringing out new features in the near future. In this article, we will look at what you can expect from the future updates in Rematch.
Future Updates in Rematch

Core Gameplay
Over the next couple of months, a variety of changes will appear across several features, including slide tackles, dribble systems, and wall contacts. Tweaks will also be made to goalkeeping mechanics. These changes are yet to be confirmed, but player feedback will be continuously taken into consideration.
Sloclap aims to add as much depth and granularity to the mechanics as possible to help Rematch reach its full potential in terms of competitiveness. Moving forward, more test servers will be deployed to test the new features and introduce improvements. Sloclap will work on these changes before implementing them in the main game.
Competitive Features
Sloclap is also designing and developing a new tournament system alongside major gameplay improvements. Players can expect a leaderboard system, which will be applicable only to those above the elite ranking. A club creation system will also be introduced soon to bring out the essence of competition in all its glory.
Social Components
One of the most sought-after features in Rematch is crossplay. This is Sloclap’s top priority. Not only will this increase the number of players, significantly reducing waiting times, but it will also allow players to connect with friends across different platforms.
This feature was expected at launch, but due to certain shortcomings, it could not be included. Sloclap quickly addressed the issue and has assured players that it will be available soon.
Casual Play Features
Alongside the new quick-play game modes and the rotating game mode queues, there is something else players can expect in the near future. Sloclap plans to implement AI-controlled bots. This will completely change offline gameplay in Rematch.
As it currently stands, you can only play the tutorial phase or free play mode to pass the time outside of multiplayer. But with AI-integrated bots, you will be able to train and hone your skills with and against AIs in both workshops and game modes.
Sloclap is a small team, but it will do everything in its power to roll out its vision as quickly and efficiently as possible.
