The Coarse Thread is one such resource that helps you craft the bow, one of the best ranged weapons in the game.
As valuable as Coarse Thread is, it is fairly difficult to find. You acquire Coarse Thread in RuneScape Dragon Wilds by spinning Coarse Animal Fur into threads. This means you need to first acquire the Spinning Wheel and Coarse Animal Fur if you wish to craft the valuable resource. This is easier said than done, as the game’s map is massive and finding items may sometimes feel like looking for a needle in a haystack.

As stated earlier, you get Coarse Thread by crafting it on the Spinning Wheel using Coarse Animal Fur. First, you need to set out into the wild to find some Coarse Animal Fur. You’ll have to hunt down animals to obtain this item. We recommend targeting the smaller animals, such as Kebbits, due to their higher population. You will need 3x Coarse Animal Fur to craft 1x Coarse Threads, so make sure to hunt as many of the animals as you can.
Once you have the fur, it is time to craft the Spinning Wheel. You craft the Spinning Wheel by using the Build Mode. Enter Build Mode by pressing the ‘B’ key and select the Spinning Wheel. Craft the item with 12x Ash Logs, 4x Flax, and 2x Stone. The Ash Logs come from trees, the Stones from rocky terrains, and the Flax are the blue flowers you find on the ground while exploring.
Head over and interact with the Spinning Wheel. Use the Coarse Animal Fur and insert it into the Spinning Wheel to spin out Coarse Threads.
