Runescape Dragonwilds has a Fast Travel feature for all players, immersing them in the game. Whether you are playing the game in Early Access or planning to play it once it is fully released, this feature will help you out in multiple situations.
Finding a way to Fast Travel in Runescape right now isn’t the easiest of tasks. Read this guide to learn how to do it in the game.
Unlocking Fast Travel in Runescape Dragonwilds
The primary item needed for Fast Travel in the new Jagex game is Lodestone. However, it cannot be crafted without a Vault Core. Players can come across a Vault Core in Runescape Dragonwilds exclusively inside Vaults. These are marked with a blue symbol on the map and also have a blue gate in the form of an inverted “V” when you stand in front of them.
When inside, you will need to make your way through various obstacles to find podiums that have Vault Cores. So far, we have found out that a Vault only has two to three Vault Cores. One of them may be located in the Vault Overlord’s room, and you will have to defeat the Overlord to access it. Moreover, obtaining the remaining Vault Cores won’t be an easy task either, because there are various traps and Vault Guardian Sentinels keeping you from taking these cores.
Once you have a Vault Core, you are eligible to craft a Lodestone. Crafting a Lodestone in Runescape Dragonwilds requires the following materials: Stone (32), Rune Essence (20), and Vault Core (1).
The final step of using Fast Travel in Runescape Dragonwilds is learning how to use Lodestone. So far, players can only use one Lodestone to travel to another. So, technically, you need to place a Lodestone in the place you wish to travel to and then in a place you wish to travel from. The best way to utilize this feature is by placing a Lodestone at your base and then scattering the rest in different corners of the map. This will allow you to Fast Travel to a lot of places on the map.
