As you explore the different regions of Ashenfall, you will encounter numerous deadly enemies and bosses. Some are more challenging than others and can even insta-kill your character unless you are well-equipped. Your standard 100 HP won’t be enough to survive such encounters—that’s where the Armor comes into play.

Several high-quality armors add a purple-colored Armor Bar above your HP. It protects you from incoming attacks and functions as a second layer of HP.  The more Lifeward you have, the better your damage resistance. You can increase this bar by equipping better chestpieces like Reinforced Armor and Bronze Armor. However, they deplete at a much faster rate compared to HP, requiring you to replenish them often. If you are unsure about how to refill your Armor Bar in RuneScape Dragonwilds, follow this quick guide.

How To Get Wardstones and Refill Armor Bar in Runescape Dragonwilds

Build a Rune Altar

You can refill the armor bar in Runescape Dragonwilds using Wardstones, which restores a significant amount of Lifeward. To craft Wardstones, you must have a Rune Altar within your base, which unlocks after completing the tutorial. To build a Rune Altar, you need

  • Stones (12): Obtained by mining stone boulders or picking up from the ground.
  • Rune Essence (4): Gathered from rocks or floating rocks.

Upon gathering the required materials, open the build menu and construct the Rune Altar inside your base.

After building the Rune Altar, you can create different types of Wardstones: Small, Medium, and Large. Interact with the Rune Altar to craft a Small Wardstone using 1 Stone and 5 Rune Essence, which replenishes a small amount of Armor Bar. Although Wardstones restore the Armor Bar, they also inflict Toxicity.

As you progress, you will unlock Medium and Large Wardstones, which can replenish a much larger amount of the Armor Bar. Additionally, certain meals and foods can slightly refill your Armor Bar. However, they are far less effective than Wardstones and should be considered a backup option for refilling the Armor Bar.
