Following Schedule 1’s massive success from the single developer team TVGS, or commonly known as Tyler, the community was hungry for more content in the game. Now, Tyler made an announcement at the end of March that future updates will be present in the Schedule 1 beta to test out major bugs and errors a few days before the updates roll out.
Here’s how to access and play Schedule 1 beta in the latest update.

Schedule 1’s community has been asking for more updates after release, as the game needs more polishing. The storage system and item discarding are not rewarding enough for the player. However, the latest updates add wall mounts and a pawn shop in the game along with more content.
Additionally, the latest update also has wall decorations and a boutique, probably a shop for the aforementioned decorations and more. Participating in the Schedule 1 beta will allow you to access the update a few days before its official release and will also help the developer find bugs and errors.
Here’s how to install and play the Schedule 1 Beta:
- Right-click on the Schedule 1 game in your Steam Library.
- Go to Properties
- Find the Betas tab
- On the tab, you will see a dropdown menu; choose the latest schedule 1 beta
- Steam will automatically start downloading files
- After installation completes, you can enjoy the latest updates from Schedule 1
The Schedule 1 official update will release on 7th April 2025. This is the first update after the game’s release and boasts an all-time peak of 459,075 on Steamdb. The question remains if it will still be relevant after a few months or fall short in average player numbers, similar to games like Lethal Company and Content Warning, which experienced a similar hype but died down due to newer releases and streamers hopping from trend to trend.
