Here is what you need to know about the graffiti system in Schedule 1, and make Hyland Point your massive canvas.

Schedule 1 adds a graffiti system in the beta version, which will soon arrive in the base game. This new gameplay mechanic lets you vandalize areas in Hyland Point. However, it’s more than just showing your artistic side. Vandalizing also helps deal with cartel groups in the game. It’s a good way to show your dominance over these competitors, especially if you are going to war with them.
With that said, you might be curious as to how this new gameplay mechanic works. Here is a guide on the graffiti system in Schedule 1, and what you should know.

How To Do Graffiti in Schedule 1
Get a Spray Paint

Before you can draw some graffiti and vandalize Hyland Point in Schedule 1, you first need a Spray Paint can. You can buy one at the Gas Mart for $10 cash each. Without a can, you won’t be able to interact with empty walls in the areas with cartel activity.
Find a Wall To Vandalize

Once you have your can of spray paint, find an empty wall with a large white square. This is where you can place graffiti. Simply go near these markers and press E on your keyboard to start making art.
You can draw whatever you want on the wall. If you want to apply multiple colors, you can select various basic colors for your spray at the bottom of the menu. If you don’t like the result, you can press the Clear button to reset your progress.
Keep in mind that there is no redo option. This means, if you mess up your drawing, you will need to go back to scratch if you want to fix it. Otherwise, you will have to find a way to cover your mistakes.

Vandalism Lowers Cartel Influence

Graffiti can reduce the cartel’s influence in an area. This is good if you are going against these groups, as the lower their control of the area, the less likely your dealers will get harassed. The less time your dealers get attacked, the more time they can sell their goods and not lose profit.
Cops Hate Vandalism

If you spend too much time doing your graffiti, nearby cops will try to arrest you. If you don’t leave on time, you will serve jail time and will pay a $50 fine as a penalty. Complete your graffiti as fast as possible and avoid the police.
