Steam’s hot and trending game, Schedule 1, starts off deceptively simple. You’re a small-time drug dealer running around town and selling drugs for other producers. Soon, the scope expands, and you’re producing your own drugs. This process is meticulous, and the transition from errand boy to drug lord is jarring. You have to run the production yourself, which requires you to acquire and assemble items such as suspension racks, growing lights, and more.
Suspension racks and growing lights are crucial elements of the drug production process. You buy seeds to grow plants, and the suspension racks serve to hold these plants and the growing lights in place. Under these racks, the growing lights help the plants grow, eventually turning them into the product that goes out into the streets.
Suspension racks, therefore, are essential items required for drug production. As essential as they are, they can be a little difficult to find, as the game does very little to tell you how to get them. How To Unlock Suspension Racks in Schedule 1

You unlock the suspension racks in Schedule 1 by following the steps given below:
- Head to the warehouse (unlocked at Hustler V) between 6 PM and 6 AM.
- Go inside and interact with Oscar by pressing the ‘E’ key.
- Click on “I’d like to purchase something.” Doing so will bring up a huge list of items that you can purchase from the NPC.
- Cycle through the items and head over to the “Suspension Racks” in the second row of the item list.
- Add the suspension racks to your cart by pressing the “Add to Cart” button below the item. Adjust the number of suspension racks as you see fit. The suspension racks cost $40 per piece, so make sure to carry the necessary funds.
- Once your cart is ready, click on the green “Purchase” button in the bottom right corner of Oscar’s menu. You will then have the suspension racks you need and can use them to set up production lines to grow plants.
