Schedule 1 has a lot of things you need to keep track of. It all starts deceptively simple, with you running around town as a small-time dealer. Things quickly escalate, and you’re thrown right into the deep end, having to produce and deal out your own drugs. Once you’re out in the market, you then have customers to keep note of, tracking down all your pending deals to ensure they are completed. As you do all of this, you have the Benzies cartel breathing down on your neck, which you deal with throughout the story.
To put it simply, there’s a lot to juggle, and it can be a hassle to keep track of what you’ve done and what you’ve yet to do. Thankfully, Schedule 1 has a built-in Journal that does this task for you. It keeps track of all the story quests you need to complete, and your clients with pending deals and deliveries. The Journal keeps track of all the objectives completed, helping you record events in the game better. This is especially useful if you’ve forgotten parts of the story and quickly need to brief up on what you did earlier.

You use the Journal in Schedule 1 via your phone. Press the ‘Tab’ key to bring up your phone. Cycle through the apps available and click on the orange Journal icon at the center to bring up the Journal. Alternatively, you can do it much faster by simply pressing the ‘J’ key on your keyboard.
As the Journal pops up and covers your screen, you will see a list of tasks. These include the ones you’ve completed as well as the ones you’re yet to finish. The tasks marked by a yellow circle are the ones tied to the main story and are your main way of progressing through the game. The green circle tasks are more about generating revenue by dealing drugs.
